Eligibility Criteria Required for SSC Junior Hindi Translator and Others Recruitment 2023

Aspirants who are willing to be selected for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator positions will have to meet the below educational and age limit criteria.

Educational Qualification for Post Code A to C Posts

Indian citizens willing to participate in the SSC Junior Hindi Translator Examination 2023 must have passed a Master’s degree in Hindi with English as an elective or compulsory subject or as a medium of examination at degree level, from a recognized institution/university.

In addition to the above-mentioned qualification, a Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa from a recognized institution.

Applicants with both the above criteria must have at least two years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central or State Government Office, including the Government of India Undertaking.

Educational Qualification for Post Code D Posts

Indian citizens willing to participate in the SSC Junior Hindi Translator Examination 2023 must have passed a Master’s degree in Hindi with English as an elective or compulsory subject or as a medium of examination at degree level, from a recognized institution/university.

In addition to the above-mentioned qualification, a Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa from a recognized institution.

Age Limit & Relaxation Details

  • The permissible age limit is 18 to 30 years on August 1st, 2023. August 1st, 2023 has been fixed for determining age limit as a crucial date.
  • Candidates who were born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 will be eligible for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator positions.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for SSC Junior Hindi Translator and Other Positions

The Staff Selection Commission has introduced an online payment method.

The commission has retained also the traditional payment method for accepting application fees from applicants willing to apply for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator positions.
