Recruitment Under UPSC PDF Notification 03/2024 | 121 Vacancies.

A group of Ministries established under the Government of India and state government Departments have sent their requisitions for manpower supply to fill up the vacant positions to the Union Public Service Commission.

The UPSC released a single recruitment UPSC PDF Notification 03/2024 combining all requisitions on its official website on February 10, 2024. The commission invites applications from suitable Indian citizens through a prescribed online application.

Willing Indian citizens who meet the required criteria and want to make their career in any of these government departments and ministries can consider applying. They can register, complete, and submit the prescribed application by February 29, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Posts under UPSC PDF Notification 03/2024

Qualification 

  • 24020301610:Assistant Director –
    • Indian citizens willing to participate must have a degree in engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics disciplines from a recognized university. Go through the PDF for detailed qualifications.
    • The applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience in a field explained in respect of this post.
  • 24020302610:Scientist ‘B’ (Physical-Civil) –
    • Willing Indian citizens must have a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Physics from a recognized institution. The applicants must have at least one year of relevant experience. Go through the PDF notification for detailed qualifications.

    • Willing Indian citizens must have a Degree from a recognized university. Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in supervisor capacity of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work.

    • Willing Indian citizens must have a Master’s degree in Zoology recognised University. The applicants also must have a minimum of three years of experience in the relevant field.

    • Applicants must have the recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Age Limit on Closing Day for Application Submission

The age limit of the candidates as mentioned post-wise below will be determined on the closing date for application submission i.e. February 29, 2024, in the current situation has been fixed as the closing date.

Relaxation in Upper Age 

There is a provision for relaxation in the prescribed upper age limit for reserved and special categories of candidates. The UPSC will follow the rules drafted for relaxation by the Government of India during the recruitment process.

Application Fee under UPSC PDF Notification 03/2024 and Remittance

Candidates under General/EWS/OBC come under a category in which an application fee of ₹ 25/- has been imposed. This means candidates of these categories will have to remit an amount of ₹ 25/- either online or offline.

Whereas the other categories of candidates such as SC, ST, PWD, and Females are exempted from the payment of application fees. Candidates of these categories won’t be able to pay any amount as an application fee.

The commission has implemented a digital payment system to make the payment process less time-consuming and effortless. It has also retained the traditional method for accepting payments from the applicants under this recruitment notification.

Now applicants seem capable of remitting their fees online while filling up the prescribed online application form only because of the implementation of a digital payment method.

The digital payment system enables users to make payments using a Net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.

 Applicants who don’t have the resources mentioned above required for online payment will have to go for another payment method i.e. pay in cash at the nearest bank branch.
