SSC GD Constable 2023 Examination – 75768 Vacancies.

Staff Selection Commission has recently released a notification for the selection of candidates who are to be posted to Constable positions at various security forces established in India.

The SSC GD Constable 2023 is to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for the post of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman in Assam Rifles.

The published notification has details about the eligibility criteria, application process, examination pattern, syllabus, and others and also invites applications from willing and eligible Indian citizens by December 28, 2023.

Educational Qualification

Indian citizens who are willing to get admission letters to the open competitive examination must have passed a graduate or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution/university.

Relaxation for SI in Delhi Police

Relaxation for Departmental candidates of Delhi Police

Departmental candidates (Unreserved) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service- up to 30 years.

Departmental candidates (OBC) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service- up to 33 years.

Departmental candidates (SC/ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service- up to 35 years.

Physical Standard

The Physical Standard Test (PST) is a mandatory test for all posts mentioned in the SSC GD Constable 2023 Examination PDF. The PST consists of the following physical standards:

1. Height: – For male candidates: 170 cm and for female candidates: 157 cm

2. Chest: – For male candidates only: Unexpanded – 80 cm, Minimum expansion – 5 cm

3. Weight: – For male and female candidates: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards

The application fee for the SSC GD 2023 Examination, 2023, can be paid only through the online generated SBI challan and online payment modes.

Applicants who will opt for the online payment mode can use any of the following resources- BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card for making payment.

Another category of candidates who don’t have resources for online payment can go for the offline payment mode by generating an SBI challan while filling out the application form.

The payment of the application fee won’t be accepted if anyone pays the prescribed fee other than online or through challan mode. The remitted amount will neither be refunded nor reserved for any other examination to be conducted in the future by SSC or any other.

Physical Endurance Test

Candidates have to clear the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) with the following events and parameters –

For male candidates: –

  • 5 km race in 24 minutes (For candidates other than those belonging to Ladakh Region.)
  • 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes (For candidates of Ladakh Region.)

For female candidates: –

  • 1.6 km race in 8.30 minutes (For candidates other than those belonging to Ladakh Region.)
  • 800 metres race in 4 minutes (For candidates of Ladakh Region.)

What information should one keep ready before applying to the SSC GD Constable 2023?

Before proceeding with One-Time Registration, you need to keep the following information/documents ready:

  • Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)
  • Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
  • Information about the Board, Roll Number, and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination
  • Aadhaar Number. If an Aadhaar Number is not available, please give one of the following ID Numbers. (You will be required to show the original document at a later stage):

The scheme of examination for the SSC GD Constable 2023 Examination is as follows:

This paper is comprised of the following four parts of total duration: 1 hour-

  • Part I: General Intelligence and Reasoning (20 questions, 40 marks)
  • Part II: General Knowledge and General Awareness (20 questions, 40 marks)

How to Apply for the SSC GD Constable 2023 Examination?

Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.ssc.nic.in. or go to the link provided at http://www.ssc.nic.in->Apply->CAPF.
They must have a valid email ID and mobile number and It should be kept active during the entire recruitment process.

Total Time: 11 minutes

Register

The applicant who visits the first time to SSC registration page will have to register themself by supplying basic details to the web page created for registration and logging in.
The successful registration creates a user ID and its associated password for future logging in.

Fill out the Application form

Candidates must fill in the online application form carefully. Once the application form is submitted, no changes can be made. They have to upload scanned copies of their photographs and signatures as per the specifications mentioned in the PDF.

Pay the application fee

Candidates should pay the application fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.

Take printouts of submitted application and payment receipt as well

After submitting the application form, candidates should take printouts of the application form and payment receipt for future reference as their own records.

Is there a negative marking in the SSC GD Constable 2023?

0.05 of the marks allotted to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer in the Computer Based Test.
