Candidates who will qualify for all tests and be on the selection list may be appointed as Operator-cum-Technician and Attendant-cum-Technician (trainee) positions against the applied posts.
On successful completion of the probation period, candidates appointed as trainees will be regularised under the below pay scale.

Educational Qualification
- Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator)
- Youths in India having Matriculation with 03 three-year (full-time) Diploma in Engineering in a relevant engineering discipline from a Govt. recognized institute can apply for the above post at Maharatna Steel Company as SAIL Rourkela.
- Such willing youths must have a first-class boiler attendant certificate of competency.
- Operator-cum-Technician (Electrical Supervisor)
- Youths in India having Matriculation with 03 three-year (full-time) Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute can apply for the above post at Maharatna Steel Company as SAIL Rourkela.
- Such willing youths must have a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency to work in Mines.
- Expect the above qualification and certificate the applicants must have post-qualification experience of at least one year experience in repairs, overhauling, and maintenance of HT/LT systems/insulation, HT/LT machinery, and other specified domains.
- Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee)

Application Fees for SAIL Rourkela Recruitment 2023
