JPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2023 Salary Details 

Candidates who are to be selected for Food Safety Officer posts through the JPSC recruitment process will get the salary of Pay Scale- PB – II ₹ 9,300 – 34,800 (Grade Pay – 5,400).

Qualification 

Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the selection test to be conducted by JPSC must be an engineering graduate in Food Technology/Dairy Technology/Biotechnology/Oil Technology/Agriculture Technology/ Veterinary Science / Biochemistry from a recognized university /institution. or

JPSC Food Safety Officer Selection Process 

The selection process consists of two tests one is a written examination of multiple-choice questions that will have questions of the following two categories as explained in the blow table.

The return examination will be conducted for 200 marks, 100 marks for each subject, and a total of 4 hours, 2 hours for each subject.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission has got a payment gateway integrated to implement a digital payment system.  

Now applicants have got the capability of online payment of application fees in addition to the traditional payment method while filling up the particulars in the prescribed online application form. 

The prescribed application fee once paid shall not be refunded nor reserved for future to be adjusted any of the competitive examinations.

  • Sub Inspector (Pioneer) – Either Degree or Diploma in civil engineering from a recognized institution /university.
  • Sub Inspector (Draughtsman) – Passed matriculation or equivalent examination and subsequently national trade certificate of 2 years from a recognized industrial training institute. Besides, the applicant also must have possession of either a one-year certificate course or one year experience in AutoCAD from a recognized government or other institution.
  • Sub Inspector (Communication) – Degree in electronics and communication or computer science or other degrees that have been included as an essential qualification for this position from a recognized institution/University.
  • Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse Female) – Applicants should have passed 10 + 2 in Science or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board. Thereafter, 3 years diploma in General Nursing from a Central or State recognized institution with a valid registration number with the Central or State Nursing Council.
