Educational Qualification for SSB ASI Stenographer Post

• Sub Inspector (Stenographer) – Applicants must have certificates that certify they have completed their Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10 + 2) examination from a recognized institution /university.

Age Limit for Sub Inspector Posts & Relaxation

Department candidates (Central Government Employee) can can also avail the benefits of relaxation in their upper age limit. As per the published notification the upper age limit for such categories are as follows-

General – up to 40 years, OBC – up to 43 years, ST/SC – up to 45 years

The Sashastra Seema Bal has tried to make the payment process fast and convenient and so has integrated a digital payment gateway of a reputed organization.

The payment gateway enables applicants to remit their application fees online while filling out their details in the prescribed online application form.

The selection process for SSB Sub Inspector Recruitment 2023 is comprised of the following stages.

• Physical Standard Test – The board of officers detailed by SSB will conduct Physical Efficiency Test. The Standards of the Physical Efficiency Test are as follows-

  • Female – 800 m race in 4 minutes
• Physical Efficiency Test – candidates of Sub Inspector (Stenographer) who qualified in the Physical Efficiency Test will have to undergo the physical standard test.

  • For Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras,
    Marathas and candidates belonging to the States
    of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur
    Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal
    Pradesh, and UT of Jammu & Kashmir –
    • Male – Height – 162.5 cm, Chest – Min – 77 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)
    • Female – Height – 150 cm, Chest – Not Applicable
  • Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes –
    • Male – Height – 162.5 cm, Chest – Min – 76 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)
