The payment gateway enables applicants to remit their application fees online while filling out their details in the prescribed online application form.

Applicants who own/possess a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Internet Banking can make payment online with a single click after filling up the particulars in the prescribed form.

The commission has been continuing the traditional payment method through the SBI challan. The challan can be generated during the filling of particulars by choosing the offline payment mode.

Stages in the Selection Procedure

The selection process for SSB Sub Inspector Recruitment 2023 is comprised of the following stages.

  • Physical Standard Test – The board of officers detailed by SSB will conduct Physical Efficiency Test. The Standards of the Physical Efficiency Test are as follows-
    • Male – 1.6 km in 6 minutes 30 seconds
    • Female – 800 m race in 4 minutes
  • Physical Efficiency Test – candidates of Sub Inspector (Stenographer) who qualified in the Physical Efficiency Test will have to undergo the physical standard test.
    • For all candidates except the Scheduled Tribe category –
      • Male – Height – 1650 cm, Chest – Min – 77 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)
      • Female – Height – 155 cm, Chest – Not Applicable
    • For Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras,
      Marathas and candidates belonging to the States
      of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur
      Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal
      Pradesh, and UT of Jammu & Kashmir –
      • Male – Height – 162.5 cm, Chest – Min – 77 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)
      • Female – Height – 150 cm, Chest – Not Applicable
    • Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes –
      • Male – Height – 162.5 cm, Chest – Min – 76 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)
      • Female – Height – 150 cm, Chest – Not Applicable

Filling particulars in the prescribed online application

Since Shastra Seema Bal has disclosed that it will apply digital means for processing applications from the applicants. The SSB has got an application format created to accept details in the recruitment process.
