Eligibility Criteria for Indian Airforce Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification

Flying –

Indian citizens who are willing to participate in AFCAT 01/2024 must have an Intermediate pass certificate, with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject Mathematics and Physics. and 

Graduation with a minimum of three years in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.

Ground Duty (Technical) –

Indian citizens who are willing to participate in AFCAT 01/2024 must have an Intermediate pass certificate in Science, with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics each and  4 years Graduation Degree in a specified domain of Engineering /Technology or equivalent from a recognized university.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical) – 

Weapon System (WS) – 

Indian citizens who are willing to participate in AFCAT 01/2024 must have an Intermediate pass certificate with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics in each from a recognized council/university. And

Graduate with a minimum 3 years degree course with a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent from R recognized university. or

B.E./B. Tech degree with a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Administration and Logistics – 

Indian citizens who are willing to participate in AFCAT 01/2024 must have an Intermediate pass certificate from a recognized council/university. And

Graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Account – 

Indian citizens who are willing to participate in AFCAT 01/2024 must have an Intermediate pass certificate from a recognized council/university. And

Graduate degree in Commerce or relevant domain with a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Education – 

Indian citizens who are willing to participate in AFCAT 01/2024 must have an Intermediate pass certificate from a recognized council/university. And

Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Meteorology –

Indian citizens who are willing to participate in AFCAT 01/2024 must have passed an Intermediate and thereafter B. Sc Degree with a minimum of 60% marks including Physics and Mathematics subjects.

There is also a provision for a stipend during the course. Flying cadet has been offered a fixed stipend of ₹ 56,000 per month during their 1-year training.
