Indians who are willing to participate in the SBI Clerical Cadre competitive exams that are likely to be conducted in January and February 2024 have to fulfil the below educational qualification and age limits.

Educational Qualification

Willing Indian citizens must have a Graduation Degree or equivalent qualification by December 31, 2023, from a Govt. recognized University/ Institution. 

Students in their final year/semester pursuing graduation may also apply with the condition that they will have to produce proof of having passed graduation on or before December 31, 2023, if provisionally selected.

Age Limit for SBI Junior Associate Examination 2023

Indian citizens willing to be posted on clerk posts in the participated nationalized banks must have attained the age of 20 years, but must not have crossed the age of 28 years on April 1, 2023.

Application Fees for SBI Junior Associate and Remittance Details

The Application Fees/Intimation Charges will be processed from November 17, 2023, to December 7, 2023, where both the dates are inclusive.

Except for the above-mentioned fee applicants would have to bear the bank transaction charges for processing of application fee/intimation charges. The bank will accept all these fees and charges through online transactions only.

Applicants can pay their fees only when they have any of the following services – Credit Card, Debit Card, and Internet Banking services.

Fee/Intimation charges paid once will neither be refunded nor reversed for future examinations.

Prospective candidates must have passed a Graduate Degree from a recognized institution/university.

Qualification

• Legal Specialists
  • Indian citizens willing to participate in the selection test for the above posts must have a Bachelor’s Degree in law with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university/institution. or higher qualification candidates are also eligible for submission of details.
  • The applicant who has at least 3 years of experience as a practising lawyer will be preferable.
  • Applicants with the above-mentioned qualifications must be a registered lawyer with the Bar Council of India.
• Accounts / Finance Specialists
  • Indian citizens willing to participate in the selection test for the above posts must have a B. Com degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institution. or higher qualifications such as M. Com candidates are also eligible for submission of details.
• Company Secretaries
  • Indian citizens willing to participate in the selection test for the above posts must have a degree from a recognized university/institution. or
  • Indian citizens who have passed the Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or Cost Accountant (ICWA) examination are also eligible to apply.
• Actuaries
  • Any Indian citizen who is willing to participate in the selection test for the above posts must have Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university/institution.
• Doctors
  • Indian citizens willing to participate in the selection test for the above posts must have an MBBS/BAMS/BHMS degree in the specified relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks degree from a recognized university/institution.
  • Indian citizens with the above qualification must have finished an internship under their MBBS degree on or before March 31, 2023.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Indian Medical Association.
• Engineers
  • Indian citizens willing to participate in the selection test for the above posts must have an engineering degree in the specified relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks degree from a recognized university/institution.
• Agriculture Specialists
• Indian citizens willing to participate in the selection test for the above posts must have a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university/institution.

The percentage of marks mentioned in the above qualifications is for a general category of candidates only. For reserved candidates such as SC/ ST, there is a provision for relaxation in the percentage marks of the qualifying examination.

Age Limit & Relaxation Details

Candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.04.1993 and not later than 31.03.2002 (both days are inclusive). For determining candidates’ age limits March 31, 2023, has been set as a crucial date.

Candidates of different categories who have a disability of not less than 40% of the specified categories will get additional relaxation for up to 10 years in their upper age.
