Eligibility Criteria Required for SSC MTS and Havaldar Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification Required for SSC MTS and Havaldar Posts
Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the selection test under this notification must have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board on or before the cut-off date i.e. August 1st, 2023.
Age Limit & Relaxation Details
- Candidates who were born not before 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2005 will be eligible for Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
- Whereas, candidates who were born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 will be eligible for Hawaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of Multi-Tasking Staff.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for SSC MTS
There is also permissible relaxation as per extant government guidelines, in the upper age limit for candidates of different categories as under –

The Staff Selection Commission has introduced an online payment method and also retained the traditional payment method for accepting application fees from applicants willing to apply for any of the posts under MTS & Havaldar Recruitment 2023.
Fees can be paid online up to July 22nd, 2023. However, candidates who don’t have the resources for online payment can make payment in cash through the system-generated challan, at the branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to July 24th, 2023.
Candidates who opt for the traditional payment mode will have to generate payment challans while filling up the application form online up to July 23rd, 2023.
Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI and Internet Banking using Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/ Visa/Mastercard/ Maestro/ RuPay etc.
