SSC Junior Engineer Salary Details to be Recruited
The posts tabulated above under the recruitment notification no- HQ-PPII03(2)/1/2023-PP_II are of Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.
Candidates to be selected through the recruitment process under SSC will be placed in organizations/offices of the Government of India in Junior Engineer (civil, mechanical & Electrical) positions in level – 6 (₹ 35,400 – 1,12,400) of Pay Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.
Eligibility Criteria Required for SSC JE Examination 2023
Any Indian citizen who is willing to participate in the SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2023 competitive examination must have the following pos-wise qualifications from a recognized institution/university.
Border Roads Organization (BRO):
- JE (C) – Junior Engineer (Civil): Applicants must have a Degree/3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution/university.
- He/She must have work experience in Planning/Execution/Maintenance of Civil Engineering Works
- JE (E & M) – Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical): Applicants must have a Degree/3-year Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution/university.
- He/She must have work experience in Planning/Execution/Maintenance of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Works
Central Public Works Department (CPWD):
- JE (C) – Junior Engineer (Civil): Applicants must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution/university.

How to Apply for SSC JE Recruitment 2023?
The Aplicants must apply online through the website http://www.ssc.nic.in. or go to the link shared at the above block herein.
They must have a valid email ID and mobile number and It should be kept active during the entire recruitment process.
Register
The applicant who visits the first time to SSC registration page will have to register themself by supplying basic details to the web page created for registration and logging in.
The successful registration creates a user ID and its associated password for future logging in.
Fill out the Application form
Candidates must fill in the online application form carefully. Once the application form is submitted, no changes can be made. They have to upload scanned copies of their photographs and signatures as per the specifications mentioned in the PDF.
Pay the application fee
Candidates should pay the application fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.
