Tata Steel JET (Junior Engineer Trainee) Selection Process 

Selection of candidates for junior engineer trainee positions will be based on a centre-based written examination followed by a personal interview and medical examination.

Stipend Under Tata Steel JET (Junior Engineer Trainee) 2023

Candidates selected and undergoing the Tata Steel Junior Engineer Trainee program will be paid a stipend of ₹ 15,047 per month duty their training period. During this training period, free accommodation and food at a subsidized rate will be provided to the eligible candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Tata Steel Junior Engineer Trainee Post

Qualification – 3 or 4 years full-time degree/diploma in any of the enlisted disciplines from a recognized institution/ university. or

Diploma in Electronics / Mechatronics from either RD Tata Technical Education Centre, Jamshedpur, or J N Tata Technical Education Centre, Gopalpur, or Tata Steel Technical Institute, Burmamines.

Note – Students of the final year academic session leading to reward degree or diploma by July 2023 can also register to get admission in the center-based written examination. Such candidates will have to submit their degree/diploma completion certificate by 31st August 2023.

Tata Steel JET Exam 2023 Application Fee

Candidates of all categories will have to pay the amount of ₹ 500 through an online payment gateway to become eligible for taking the assessment.

The fee paid once will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Multi-Skilled Worker (Painter) –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection for Multi Skilled Worker (Painter)  must have passed matriculation and must possess a certificate of Painter trade from an Industrial Training Institute or any other reputed State/Central Vocational training institute. 

 Or any other qualification elaborated in respect of this position in the official notification.

Multi-Skilled Worker  (Mess Waiter) –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection for Multi Skilled Worker  Mess Waiter must have passed Matriculation from a recognized board. 

He will have to also qualify for the trade test to be conducted by the Border Road Organization.

Vehicle Mechanic –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection for Vehicle Mechanic must have passed Matriculation from a recognized board.

The Bihar Education Project Council has got a payment gateway integrated to accept examination fees online. And is the only mode of payment, examination fee trying to remit other than this is not acceptable.

The respective bank may charge a convenience fee which payment gateway has been integrated to make the payment process online. A sum amount of the examination fee and convenience charges will be detected from the applicants’ bank account.

The sum amount will be detected from the bank account of an applicant when he provides details and authenticates after filling up the online application form.

The payment gateway will accept Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking, and more options are available on the payment page.
