BTSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2023: The Bihar Technical Service Commission has received requisitions from the Department of General Administration Government of Bihar. The requisition is for the selection of candidates who are to be suitable for pharmacist posts.
As per the received requisition, the said positions are to be filled up through direct recruitment and so the Commission has planned to conduct a recruitment cycle under the instructions outlined in the public notification published on 3rd April 2023.
BTSC has invited Indian citizens who have Diplomas in Pharmacy and Intermediate qualifications with other specified criteria such as age limit can enroll their details for admission to the competitive examination to be announced later. The closing date for application submission has been extended to May 19th, 2023.

BTSC Pharmacist Salary Details
Candidates who are to be registered and considered eligible will be involved in the elimination and selection rounds framed for BTSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2023.
Candidates who will be on the final selection list will be placed in Pharmacist positions in a user department in PB – 5,200 – 20,200/-, Grade Pay – 2,800/-, (Pay Level – 5).
Eligibility Criteria for BTSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification
Pharmacist –
Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the BTSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2023 test for the selection of candidates for Pharmacist posts must have either diploma in Pharmacy including Intermediate qualifications from recognized institutions.
The applicant must be a registered Pharmacist with a registration number with Bihar Pharmacy Council.
Applicants also must have experienced certificates from government hospitals in the state of Bihar. The experience which they have acquired up to April 5th, 2023, will be considered.
Age Limit on 01.08.2019 and Relaxation
1st August 2019 is the crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates who are going to enroll for admission to the test venue. Applicants must ensure their age limit as BTSC has defined the minimum and maximum age limit for candidates of the below-mentioned categories –

Special Age relaxation –
Physically disabled candidates will get a maximum of 10 years of relaxation in their upper age if exceed the upper age limits as per resolution no – 962 dated – 22.01.2021 by the General Administration Department, Bihar.
Government employees posted and completed at least 3 years of continuous working will get an age relaxation of 5 years if they register for participating in BTSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2023 process as per resolution no – 2374 dated – 16.07.2007 and letter no – 13107 dated – 20.09.2019 by the General Administration Department, Bihar.

The commission has introduced an online payment mode retaining the traditional payment mode, too. The application fee fixed for the above-specified categories of candidates can be remitted while filling up the prescribed online application form through an integrated payment gateway.
The integrated payment gateway will accept those fees electronically through either BHIM UPI or Internet Banking or by a Credit Card/ Debit Card.
The bank involved in the service of payment gateway will also charge for processing fees that applicants will have to bear which will be summed with the application fees and a total amount will be deducted from the applicants’ bank account who will register for BTSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2023.
Candidates who will prefer for going with the SBI e-challan will have to generate it while filling up the details. They have to visit the nearest SBI branch with the generated payment challan and the amount printed on it.

The commission has framed a Window for processing details of applicants electronically through a prescribed online application form. The said application form will be functional in the following time frame.

Extension of the last date for application submission
Because of receiving less number of applications, the Bihar Technical Service Commission has decided to extend its last date of application submission to 19th May 2023.

How to Apply for BTSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2023
As per the public notification released on April 3rd, 2023, Bihar Technical Service Commission is using a web application for processing applicants’ details. Every applicant who is willing to apply for the Pharmacist vacant post will have to follow the steps as under –
Register
Willing Indian citizens will have to create an individual accounts in the BTSC database. That can be achieved by registering into the system by supplying the requisite details and this is the firstmost step to applying process. This step will generate a unique registration number along with a password.
Fill up the online application form
Log on to your account using the registration number along with the password. Thereafter, fill up the prescribed application form by supplying the requisite details. Also, upload scanned documents in support of your claim at the specified location.
Upload Photograph and Signature
Your scanned photograph and signature are also to be uploaded at the specified location, having completed the above-mentioned step.
Pay the application fee as specified in the notification
Pay the application fee prescribed for your category, the amount can be remitted either online or offline at your convenience.
Take the printout of the finally submitted applications
You will get a message of successful submission of the web page containing your filled-up details. This means you have successfully submitted your details into the BTSC database. Now it’s time to keep proof for future reference, which can be done by taking a printout of the finally submitted web page.
