Educational Qualification Required for OREDA Technician and Junior Assistant

Technician –

Indian nationals willing to participate in the selection of test for the above post must have passed HSC or equivalent with ITI in Electrician/ Mechanic / IT & ESM Trades at least have a 50% mark in aggregate from a recognized institution/board/council.

Throughout the career, the minimum category-wise % marks are fixed as follows –

• UR & SEBC – Minimum 50 % throughout career 
• SC/ST/PWD- Minimum 45% throughout career

Junior Assistant –

Indian nationals who are willing to participate in the selection test for the above post must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institution/university.

Throughout the career, the minimum category-wise % marks are fixed as follows –

• UR & SEBC – Minimum 50 % throughout career 
• SC/ST/PWD- Minimum 45% throughout career

Other Criteria –

With the above qualifications mentioned in respect of each position, the candidate must be able to read, write, and speak the language of Odia.

He/She must have passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject. Or any of the other qualifications mentioned equivalent to this in respect of these positions.

OREDA has got integrated a payment gateway with the online prescribed application form. This integrated payment gateway accepts Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI etc.

Applicants willing to participate in the selection of the above positions will have to remit the above application fees belonging to their categories while filling up the online application form.

The remitted fee will neither be refunded nor kept in reserve for adjustment in any other examination. Applicants have to keep a print copy of the applied application form for future reference.
