As per the UPSC Medical Service Exam Notification 2023, the applicants’ categories have been divided into two groups. Categories General, EWS, and OBC are of one group, and the rest categories SC, ST, and PWD are of another group.

UPSC CMSE 2023 Selection Process

  • Written Examination
    • Written examination with a maximum of 500 marks will be carried out in two papers(250 marks each). The components and syllabi of the two Papers and the weightage of different components in the two papers have been explained in Appendix – I.
  • Interview
    • The objective of the interview is to assess the candidate’s suitability for the post he/ she has completed.  The interview process will be conducted for 100 marks. 
  • Document Verification
    • The Commission will take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only for those candidates who have qualified for the Interview/Personality Test.
  • Medical Examination
    • Prior to joining the service, the commission will conduct a medical test of all the finally selected candidates to ensure their fitness of candidates.  Any candidate who doesn’t meet the medical fitness criteria will not get the joining later.

Eligibility Criteria for EPFO Social Security Assistant & Stenographer

Intending citizens of India are supposed to be achieved the qualification on the closing day for submission of the application. The qualifications specified for Social Security Assistant and Stenographer are as under –

  • Social Security Assistant
    • Citizens of India intending to appear at the phase-I examination must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
    • A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a Computer. (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word for Data Entry Work.
    • Time to be allowed – ten minutes.
  • Stenographer
    • Citizens of India intending to appear at the phase-I examination must be a 12th-class pass from a recognized Board.

Those awaiting the results of the final examination of the prescribed Essential qualification must not apply for any of the posts mentioned above.

Indian citizens who want to be applicants for the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization will have to pay application fees fixed by the organization. The organization has adopted digital transactions by integrating a payment gateway into the online application form.

The payment gateway integrated with the prescribed online application will accept payment through Internet Banking, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and UPI. The application fee paid other than those mentioned will be not acceptable.

Is there any charge for challenging provisional answer keys?
