A notification of Graduate/Technician Apprentice on the  Official website of Western Coalfields Limited has been published under the apprentice Act 1961.

 Candidates willing to join Graduate/ Technician apprentice in WCL  will have to require to submit details in the prescribed online web application men sending their enrollment details.

Before filling up the online web application applicants will have to register at National Apprentice Training Scheme (NATS) web portal within the prescribed time period.

I. Category – Graduate Apprentices:

Indian citizens willing to join Western Coalfields Limited as graduate apprentices must have a B.E./B. Tech /AMIE Engineering Degree in Mining discipline from UGC/AICTE recognized university.

II. Category -Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

Indian citizens willing to join Western Coalfields Limited as diploma apprentices must a Diploma in Mining / Mining & Mine Survey discipline from UGC/ AICTE recognized institution.

Duration of training 

As per the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Act 1992 (amended) the duration of the above apprenticeship training is for one year.

The web application form should be filled up by the Graduate or Diploma holder in Mining Engineering.  Actually, the thing is Western Coalfields Limited wants to impart technical skills to the Diploma and Degree holders in the Mining discipline.
