Eligibility Criteria Required for WB Community Health Officer
Indian nationals who are willing to work with the West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Society must have any of the following qualifications from a recognized institution/university.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing included with Integrated Course of CPCH in or after 2020, from an institution recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council.
- With the above qualification, the applicant must have a registration certificate/provisional certificate/reciprocal from the West Bengal Nursing Council.
- Applicant must be a resident of West Bengal and be able to read, write, and speak Bengali.
- He/She must be proficient in the local language and dialect.
The degree above mentioned must have included an integrated curriculum of the certificate program in community health.
In addition to the above qualification and certificate, he/she must have passed in or after the Academic year 2016 – 2020.

Age Limit & Relaxation Details
The age limits of candidates will be determined by considering January 1st, 2023 as the cut-off date.
The upper age fixed for the Community Health Officer post is 40 years, however, candidates belonging to the reserved category will get the benefit of relaxation in their upper age as per the rules.
Application Fee & Remittance Details
Candidates who belong to the Unreserved category will have to pay an amount of ₹ 100/- as an application fee, whereas, other candidates belonging to reserved categories will have to pay ₹ 50/- as an application fee.
The amount to be paid as Application fees are non-refundable and can be paid only online by using resources such as Credit or Debit Cards or Internet Banking.
