Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre has announced a trades list available for training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. The Space Centre is likely to raise apprentices for the current year. The trades list laid below is abstracted from the official notification published on its official website.
ITI passed Indian nationals who want to give an edge in their qualification can register for the apprenticeship under VSSC. Educational qualification required
Trade Serial Number 1 to 14 –
A candidate must have a trade certificate in any of the designated trades from a recognized institution from a recognized board/university.
Trade Serial Number 15 –
Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the selection test for the apprenticeship must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/ Physics from a recognized institution/university.
The applicant must opt for Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics as the subsidiary subject during their bachelor’s degree.
