UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission has received requests from Department of Defence Production, Directorate General of Employment, Indian Bureau of Mines, and Labour Department for supplying candidates to be placed in various positions.
The commission has decided to conduct a combined selection process “UPSC Recruitment 2023” to get suitable candidates for the positions indicated in requests and the same are tabulated below. And so, it released a UPSC recruitment 2023 notification on 10th February 2023.
The complete the applying process will be executed with the help of digital media and started on 11th February 2023 and will continue to process till 2nd March 2023. All intending Indian citizens are requested to complete their application earlier than the closing day.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Recruitment 2023
- Foreman (Aeronautical) – Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Technology from any recognized university or Associate member of the Institute of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Aeronautical.
- Foreman (Chemical) – Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University and 1-year experience in the relevant field i.e. chemical from a recognized organization or Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University.
- Foreman computer (IT) – Degree in Computer Engineering or Technology from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Computer (IT) from a recognized organization OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science from any recognized University OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Computer plus one year experience in the relevant field.
- Foreman (Electrical) – Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Electrical. And one year of experience in a relevant field i.e. Electrical from a recognized organization.
- Foreman (Electronics) – Degree in Electronics Engineering or Technology from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Electronics from a recognized organization OR Master’s Degree in Electronics or in Physics with Electronics as a special subject OR Degree from an Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in the relevant field i.e. Electronics plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Electronics from a recognized organization.
- Foreman (Metallurgy) – Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Metallurgical. And one year of experience in a relevant field i.e. Metallurgy from a recognized organization.
- Foreman (Textile) – Degree in Textile Engineering or Technology from any recognized University OR Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Textile. And one year experience in a relevant field i.e. Textile from a recognized organization.
- Deputy Director of Employment – Master’s Degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Commerce or Psychology or Sociology or Social Work or Public Administration or Business Administration from a recognized University or Institute. And five years of experience in any of the following fields: (a) Collection, analysis, and interpretation of data.
- Assistant Controller of Mines – Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. And three years of experience in a relevant field.
- Labour Officer – Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Social Work or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or in any other allied subject of a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
