Final Result of UPSC Combined Defense Services Examination (I) of 2022.

The Union Public Service Commission has started collecting applications for the selection of candidates in various defense academies in the country. Citizen of India who wants to serve the country to become a defense personnel after completion of special courses from Indian military, naval, and Air Force Academies. The Union Public Service Commission invites applications from such candidates. The commission has taken the help of public notification to get notified.

The commission will conduct a competitive examination for the selection of candidates for the first batch of 2022. Willing candidates who have graduated can submit their details in the prescribed online application. All the formalities like filling up the application form and remittance of the examination fee must be completed on or before 10th January 2022.

The commission has released a public notification for this combined defense service examination on its official website. Eligible candidates will have to submit their details of eligibility through the online prescribed application up to 10th January 2022.

Stipend & Pay Scale.

With the above pay scale, the officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier will receive Military Service Pay of rupees 15,500 per month (fixed).

During the entire training duration cadets will receive a stipend pay of rupees 56,000/- per month.

Qualification Details.

Indian Military Academy, Dehradun –

A candidate willing to take admission in the above Indian Military Academy must have a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university.

Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala –

A candidate willing to take admission in the above Indian Naval Academy must have a Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution/university.

Air Force Academy, Hyderabad –

A candidate willing to take admission in the above Indian Air Force Academy must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university. He should have read Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) (SSC Course for men) –

A candidate willing to take admission in the above Officers’ Training Academy must have a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university.

Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) –

A candidate willing to take admission in the above Officers’ Training Academy must have a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university.

Application Fee.

The commission has integrated a payment gateway for remittance of application fees online. But it has also kept an option for or generation of payment challan ” pay by cash”.

In the first mode of payment, applicants can instantly remit their fee amount while filling the online application form. Whereas in the second mode of payment applicants will have to take the print of a payment challan and present it to the nearest bank branch with the fee amount.
