Uttar Pradesh is one of the top largest states of India in terms of area-wise. The state requires a large size of defense personnel to maintain law & order. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board is responsible to recruit the defense personnel. The mentioned board has released a notification of recruitment for filling up vacant positions in UP Police and Vigilance Establishment.
Candidates willing their a career in the defense sector after completion of a Graduate degree can submit an application online. The application registration process will start on 1st May 2021 and will continue up to 31st May 2021. Due to the unavoidable condition of COVID-19 the dates are extended and the details are mentioned below.

Qualification Details.
Deputy Inspector of Police (Confidential)-
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university. Candidates should have shorthand and typing skills. The shorthand speed should be 80 wpm in Hindi and typing speed in Hindi & English should be 25 & 30 wpm respectively in the encrypted keyboard. The candidates should have earned NIELIT ‘O’ level or equivalent certificate from a recognized institution.
Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk)-
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution/university. Candidates should have shorthand and typing skills. The shorthand speed should be 80 wpm in Hindi and typing speed in Hindi & English should be 25 & 30 wpm respectively in the encrypted keyboard. The candidates should have earned NIELIT ‘O’ level or equivalent certificate from a recognized institution.
Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accountant)-
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce discipline from a recognized institution/university. Candidates should have shorthand and typing skills. The Hindi typing speed should be 15 wpm minimum on the encrypted keyboard. The candidates should have earned NIELIT ‘O’ level or equivalent certificate from a recognized institution.
