The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to established sub-health centers as health and wellness centers. This is a part of an initiative under the centrally-sponsored Ayushman Bharat scheme. The Uttar Pradesh health department has released a notification to include 4000 Community Health Officers on a contractual engagement.
The Health Department of Uttar Pradesh has included a time frame a time dream for processing the online application. It is accepting details from the applicant through the prescribed online application and this process will continue up to 13th February 2022. The health department has rescheduled the last date for application submission. The details are tabulated in the important dates section.

Qualification Details
Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the selection test for Community Health officers positions must meet the following criteria.
- The candidates must have completed a nursing course in B.Sc with the integrated curriculum of CCHN/ Post Basic B.Sc with the integrated curriculum of CCHN/ General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- He/she must have been registered as Nurse and Midwifery by UP Nurses & Midwifery Council.
- The applicant must have completed the above qualification from academic year 2020 and onward.
