Bihar Sub Inspector Prohibition and Other Posts Salary Details

Candidates who will pass all tests involved in the recruitment process and be on the final list will be appointed and posted in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department in Bihar.

The State Government employees who are in service and are willing to get promoted to higher pay scale positions will get up to 5 years of relaxation in their upper age.

Ex-servicemen who want to join the above position will get relaxation up to the period of service rendered in the defence forces plus up to 3 years but the upper age limit is limited to 57 years on a cut-off day.

The Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission has integrated a payment gateway to accept fees online and to make the payment process more convenient.

Candidates who will qualify for all stages of the selection test will be placed in Assistant (Group B) positions in Level – 7 (₹ 44,900 – 1,42,400/-) of the pay matrix of 7th PRC plus usual allowances as admissible under the Patna High Court.

Qualification

• Indian citizens willing to take entry to the selection test which is to be scheduled for engagement in the Personal Assistant post must have a graduate degree from a recognized institution/university.
• The applicant also must have a diploma certificate in Computer Application or a certificate of at least 6 months of course in Computer Application from a recognized institution.
• With the above qualifications, the applicants must have also a certificate in English shorthand and English typing with a minimum specified speed.

Age Limit and Relaxation Details

The applicant must have attained 18 years of age on 1st January 2023 or he must not be born later than 01.01.2005. The upper age limit for candidates of different categories has been fixed as follows.

Candidates employed under the Central Government or Govt of Bihar will get further relaxation in their upper age by 5 years.
