The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Stenography Skill Test and the Personality Test/Viva voce test will be placed in a position applied for and will be entitled to the below post-wise pay level:

Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand High Court Stenographer Recruitment 2024
Citizens of India willing to appear must have the following eligibility criteria for selection and engagement to the Stenographer posts to be posted in Civil Courts in Jharkhand.
Educational Qualification Required for Stenographer Post
Willing Indin citizens must have a graduate degree in any subject from a recognized university.
In addition to the above qualification, the applicants must have Stenography and Typing skills with a speed of 80 words per minute (wpm) in English and 40 words per minute (wpm) in English respectively.
Other Criteria –
- The applicants must be practised operators of typing on computers with adept working knowledge.

The date of reckoning for the minimum and maximum age limit is January 1, 2024.

The prescribed examination fees once paid will neither be refunded nor reserved for adjustment in future competitive examinations. And no other mode of payment is available.
All the applicants must take a printout of the successful transaction of the examination fee. This may help to resolve future conflicts related to the transaction of examination fees.
