The Government of Assam has formed a new Police Commando Battalion. The newly formed Italian will include candidates of male, female, and transgender irrespective of their categories. The state government has instructed the State Level Police Recruitment Board to conduct a recruitment cycle to get suitable candidates as Constables. The above-mentioned recruitment board has released a notification of constable recruitment on its official website.
Candidates willing to serve the state of Assam as constables can submit their details online. The recruitment board has shared a prescribed online application to get details from these candidates. The public notification has mentioned the link of the prescribed application will remain active up to 12th January 2022.

Educational qualification details required for Constable position
Constable (AB) –
A candidate willing to apply for the Constable (AB) position must have HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized institution/university.
Candidates who are willing to apply for the Constable (Nursing) must have a diploma in nursing along with the above qualification from a recognized institution.
Other criteria-
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam state.
He/She must have a live registration with the local Employment exchange of Assam.
The candidate must be able to speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
