The State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam will conduct a series of rallies in the home district. The recruitment board will conduct all these rallies for the selection of constables. The board will select constables for armed and unarmed branches.
The Recruitment Board has released a notification that indicates a total of 2134 constables are to be recruited. Candidates willing to serve as a constable must register themselves through the prescribed online application. The registration process will in on 9th January 2022.

Qualification Details
Constable (UB) –
A candidate willing to apply for the Constable (UB) position must have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized institution/university.
Constable (AB) –
A candidate willing to apply for the Constable (AB) position must have HSLC/Class X or equivalent examination from a recognized institution/board.
Other criteria-
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam state.
He/She must have a live registration with the local Employment exchange of Assam.
The candidate must be able to speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
