It has passed an order to the Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha to start the recruitment process for filling up the vacant positions of teachers. As per the report, the department has a total of 4619 teacher vacancies.

The Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha has published a public notification on its official website for starting the recruitment process. A candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi as an elective/optional/honors/pass subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and B. Ed in Hindi from NCTE recognized institution/university. Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.

Sanskrit Teacher –

A candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as an elective/optional/honors/pass subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and Siksha Shastri Course (Sanskrit) from NCTE recognized institution/university. Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.

Physical Education Teacher –

A candidate should have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board/ University and C.P. Ed/B.P. Ed/ M.P. Ed from a recognized board/university.

The project requires the manpower of various positions at the block and district levels. The Rural Development Department, Jharkhand has published a notification with the consolidated vacancy details for the above-mentioned levels.

The main goal of this project is to provide employment in the rural areas of the country for uplifting the financial condition of the rural citizens.
