OSSSC Nursing Officer Recruitment 2022 – Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha is willing to include candidates for district cadre vacancies.

The department will place candidates in 30 district establishments and 13 Medical Colleges and Hospitals. As of now, the department has announced a total of 4070 vacancies.

 The department has approached the office of the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission with a recruitment proposal. OSSSC will conduct the Nursing Officer Recruitment 2022 cycle for the selection of candidates who will suit these positions.

The OSSSC has informed that willing Indian nationals can register with their details till 7th June 2022, through the official notification.

OSSSC Nursing Officer Recruitment 2022 Vacancy  

OSSSC Nursing Officer Salary Details

Appointment to the Nursing Officer posts will be initially as Initial Appointee. The Initial Appointee will receive a fixed amount of ₹ 15,000/- at the end of each month.

They will be considered for regularization under Odisha Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ regularization rules, 2013. The nursing officer salary in Odisha will be paid ₹ 29,200 – 92,300/-, Pay Matrix Level – 8, Cell – 1 after regularization.

Educational Qualification Required for OSSSC Nursing Officer Recruitment 2022 

• Indian nationals who are willing to participate in the selection examination must have any of the following qualifications.

• B. Sc degree in Nursing from Indian Nursing Council approved and recognized institution.

• Intermediate or equivalent examination passed with the diploma in General Nursing Midwifery. 

• The applicant must have a registration certificate from the State Nursing Council on the date of advertisement.

Other Criteria –

In addition to the mentioned-above qualifications in respect of the Nursing Officer position, the candidate must be able to read, write, and speak the Odia language.

He/She must pass the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject. Or any of the other qualifications mentioned equivalent to this in respect of these positions.
