Qualification Details
Medicine Specialist –
A candidate willing to serve as a Medicine Specialist must have an MD/DNB (Medicine) degree from a recognized institution.
Pediatrician Specialist-
A candidate willing to serve as a Pediatrician Specialist must have an MD/DNB (Pediatrician) degree from a recognized institution.
Cardiologist Specialist-
A candidate willing to serve as a Cardiology Specialist must have an MD (Cardiology) degree from a recognized institution.
Orthopedic Specialist-
A candidate willing to serve as an Orthopedic Specialist must have an MD/DNB (Orthopedic) degree from a recognized institution.
ENT Specialist-
A candidate willing to serve as an ENT Specialist must have an MD/DNB (ENT) degree from a recognized institution.
Other Criteria –
The candidate must possess Indian citizenship.
He must be registered under Odisha Medical Registration rule 1965 and must have that valid registration certificate.
The candidate must not be involved in any vigilance/criminal case.
Engagement Period
The engagement will be for one year at the initial period. There is also a provision of extension in the engagement period after the consideration of the performance of the Visiting Specialist Doctor. The extension also depends on the requirement of the organization in that situation.
