The Department of Higher Education, Odisha has compiled reports from the Government degree colleges. The compiled report is about the discipline-wise vacant positions in the degree colleges. The department has shared the compiled report with the Odisha Public Service Commission.
The intention of sharing this report is to request suitable candidates to fill up these vacant positions. The commission has published a public notice incorporating the received report. It is asking for profile details from the eligible candidates through the prescribed online application up to 25th November 2021.

Qualification Details.
Assistant Professor (Stage- I) –
A candidate must have a Master’s Degree in the concerned/relevant/allied subject with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized institution/university.
He/She must have qualified for the National Eligibility Test meant for the appointment of Assistant Professor.
