The Department of School and Mass Education, Odisha has announced that Government Higher Secondary Schools will get new teaching professionals as post-graduate teachers.
The department has added its requirement for teachers in 17 stand-alone Government Higher Secondary Schools. These 17 stand-alone Government High Schools have 335 vacancies for post-graduate teachers. The department has aligned recruitment with the Public Service Commission Odisha for conducting the whole recruitment process.
The commission has started the process by releasing a public notification on its official website in this regard. Willing Indian citizens who make their career with the Government of Odisha can submit the prescribed online applications up to 2nd January 2022.

PGT Salary in 17 Stand-Alone Govt Higher Secondary Schools Odisha
The new candidates will be offered at Level-10 and Cell-01 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual all applicable allowances as prescribed by the Government of Odisha.

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of Post Graduate teacher must have passed a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized institution/university and Post Graduate Master’s course from NCERT recognized institution of Regional College of Education.
Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.
The candidate must have a B. Ed or equivalent degree from NCTE recognized institution/university.

The Odisha Public Service Commission has integrated a payment gateway along with the prescribed online application form. Candidates will have to pay the applicable categorical processing fees. April 28, 2023- Scheduled Interviews for recruitment to post graduate teacher in Commerce have been rescheduled by the Odisha Public Service Commission.
