Odisha Government Secondary Schools Require 11403 Appointee Teachers.

The Department of School and Mass Education, Odisha has decided to include new candidates as teachers. The department will include teachers of the following categories. 

• TGT Arts
• TGT Science (PCM)
• TGT Science (CBZ)
• Hindi Teacher
• Sanskrit Teacher
• Telugu Teacher
• Physical Teacher

The department has directed the Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha for initiating the recruitment process. The above-mentioned directorate has released a public notification on its official website in this regard.

The above-mentioned directorate will accept details from the eligible candidates through the prescribed online application form and will continue up to 31st January 2022.

Qualification Details

TGT Arts –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of TGT (Arts) must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce/Shastri (Sanskrit) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and B. Ed/3 years integrated B. Ed – M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution/university. Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.

TGT Science (PCM)-

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of TGT Science (PCM) must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and B. Ed/3 years integrated B. Ed – M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution/university. Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.

TGT Science (CBZ) –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of TGT Science (CBZ) must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and B. Ed/3 years integrated B. Ed – M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution/university. Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.

Hindi Teacher –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of a Hindi Teacher must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi as one of the collective/ optional/ pass/ Honours subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and B. Ed /B. Ed from NCTE recognized institution/university. Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.

Sanskrit Teacher –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of a Sanskrit Teacher must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the collective/ optional/ pass/ Honours subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) course from NCTE recognized institution/university. Or any other qualification mentioned in respect of this position in the official notification.

Telugu Teacher –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of Telugu Teacher must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts with Telugu subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university and B. Ed from NCTE recognized institution/university. 

Physical Teacher –

A candidate willing to participate in the selection of Physical Teacher must have passed Intermediate (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized institution/university and C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P. Ed from a recognized Board/University

Candidates will have to pay the applicable processing fees. The Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha has integrated a payment gateway along with the online application form. The processing fees will be accepted through this payment gateway only. No other mode of payment is available except online.

The integrated payment gateway will use Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet banking and other financial instruments enlisted on the payment page of the official website.
