Qualification Details
Graduate Apprentices:
An Indian student willing to be a Graduate Apprentice under NHPC must have Postgraduate Degree in the concerned subject or two years full-time MBA from a recognized institution/university.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
An Indian student willing to be a Technician Apprentice under NHPC must have a full-time Diploma in any of the concerned disciplines from a State Technical Board/AICTE recognized institution/university.
ITI (Trade) Apprentices –
An Indian student willing to be a Trade Apprentice under NHPC must have completed ITI in any of the above-mentioned trades from an institution affiliated with NCVT/SCVT.
Duration of training
As per the Apprentices Act, 1961 the duration of the apprenticeship training is for a period of one year for all categories of apprentices.
