Department of Health Medical Education and Family Welfare, Jharkhand has instructed their district unit in Deoghar to engage new candidates in various vacant positions who are to be placed under the National Health Mission.

The district unit has released NHM Deoghar Recruitment 2023, a PDF notification regarding the selection of candidates reported by the above department with an official letter.

Eligibility Criteria for NHM Deoghar Recruitment 2023 Posts

Those Indian citizens who are willing to work with the Medical Health Education and Family Welfare Department, Jharkhand in a position for which they need candidates must meet the following post-wise basic educational qualification and age limits.

Educational Qualification

• ANM
  • The applicant must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination and should have completed the ANM Course from an institution recognized by the Government and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
  • With the above qualification, the applicant must have registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• Staff Nurse
  • The applicant must have completed 10+2 or Intermediate with 3 years of General Nursing and Midwifery Training from a Govt. recognized institution and should be registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• Store Keeper cum pro MIS Operator
  • The applicant must have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy with good knowledge of Computer Operation.
  • Applicant should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in handling medicine stores.
• RMNCH+ A Counselor
  • The applicant must have a Master’s /Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work/ Public Administration/ Psychology/ Sociology/ Home Science/ Hospital & Health Management. One year’s work experience in the Health Sector or relevant field.
• Ayush Pharmacist
  • Ayurvedic Compounder: Diploma in Ayurvedic pharmacy from govt. recognized institute
  • Unani Compounder: Diploma in Unani Pharmacy from govt. recognized institute
  • Homeopathic Compounder: Diploma in Homeopathic Pharmacy from govt. recognized institute.
• Nutrition Counselor
  • The applicant must have a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in any subject (Hons./Pass) with a Diploma or Certificate Course in Nutrition.
  • MS Office Basic Computer Skills.
• Cook cum Attendant
  • Diploma in Cooking/ Hotel Management/ Carting. Or Matriculation with two years of working experience in cooking in an institution.
• Staff Nurse DEIC
  • The applicant must have completed 10+2 or Intermediate with 3 years of General Nursing and Midwifery Training from a Govt. recognized institution and should be registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• Pharmacist
  • The applicant must have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute. Should be registered under the Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council.
• Dental Technician DEIC
  • The applicant must have completed a Diploma in Dental Technology/ Mechanics from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India. Candidates should be registered with the DCI/ State Dental Council.
• Social Worker DEIC
  • PG Degree (Social Work/ Sociology)/ MSW from a recognized University. At least two years of work experience as a social worker post qualification.
• ANM, U-PHC
  • The applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination and should have completed the ANM Course from an institution recognized by the Government and approved by INC.
  • Should be registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• Staff Nurse, (U-PHC)
  • 10+2 or Intermediate with 3 years of General Nursing and Midwifery Training from Govt. recognized institution.
  • Should be registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• Lab. Technician UPHC (NUHM)
  • 10+2 or Intermediate and Diploma in Lab. Technician from a Govt. recognized institute with one year of experience.
• Pharmacist UPHC
  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute. Should be registered under the Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council.
• Staff Nurse
  • 10+2 or Intermediate with 3 years of General nursing and midwifery training from a Govt. recognized institution.
  • Must be registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• GNMs- District NCD Clinic
  • 10+2 or Intermediate with 3 years of General Nursing and Midwifery Training from a Govt. recognized institution.
  • Must be registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• Rehabilitation Worker NPHCE
  • The applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. Thereafter, a one-year certificate course/Diploma in multi-rehabilitation worker (DMRW) or community-based Rehabilitation Worker (CBRW) from a recognized institute.
• Sanitary Attendants NPHCE
  • Must have passed matriculation from a recognized board.
• Hospital Attendants NPHCE
  • Must have passed matriculation from a recognized board.
• Clinical Psychologist NMHP
  • Postgraduation Degree in Psychology or Applied Psychology and Master of Philosophy in Medical and Social Psychology Master of Philosophy in Mental Health and Social Psychology.
  • obtained the above degree after completion of a full-time course of 2 years which included supervised clinical training, approved and recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
• Psychiatric Social Worker NMHP
  • Must have completed the minimum 2-year course in Mental Health or Psychiatric Social Worker and must be awarded a postgraduate degree after completion.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Indian citizens willing to apply for a post under 01(NHM)/2023 must have attained a minimum age of 18 years on January 1, 2023.

Whereas, the upper age of different categories of candidates has been set to different numbers.
