Apprenticeship Training for COPA Trade Under Mumbai Port Trust.

The Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department of Mumbai Port Trust is ready to conduct one-year apprenticeship training for a single trade only. The above-mentioned Port Trust has marked Computer Operator and Programming Assistant as the trade to be included. A public notification has been released in this regard on the official website of Mumbai Port Trust.

Candidates who are willing to join an apprenticeship in the above-mentioned trade and meet the criteria as mentioned in this official notification can claim to be eligible. Willing and eligible candidates will have to be registered in the NCVT MIS web portal prior to filling the prescribed application form. The applicants will have to send the duly filled application by post or by hand delivery at the mentioned office.

Eligibility Citeria.

COPA –

The candidates should have passed the 10th class or its equivalent examination under the 10+2 pattern from a recognized board/institution.

He/She should have a certificate in COPA trade issued by the National Council of Vocational Training.

Age Limit.

There is no upper age limit to join apprenticeship training under this notification, whereas the lower age limit is 14 years. The candidates between the age of 14 to 18 years will be considered minors and won’t be able to sign the apprenticeship contract. Their guardians will have to sign the contract on their behalf.

Application Fee & Bank Details.

The port authority will accept the above fee through the NEFT mode only. The fee amount remitted other than NEFT won’t be accepted.
