It has decided to engage new candidates on a fixed-term basis under the 1 year plus 1 year plus 1-year pattern. The candidate who has a diploma, ITI,  degree, or any other relevant qualification as mentioned in the official notification can claim their eligibility. Skilled ID -I

AC. Ref. Mechanic  –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the relevant trade as mentioned in the official notification.

Compressor Attendant  –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the Millwright Mechanic/ Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance with work experience in MDL as a Compressor Attendant for a minimum of one year.

Carpenter  –

Class VIII  standard passed and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in Carpenter/Shipwright trade.

Chipper Grinder  –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in any trade.  The candidate should have worked in the shipbuilding industry as a Chipper Grinder for a minimum of one year period.

Composite Welders  –

Class VIII  standard passed and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in Welder/Structural Welder or any other relevant trade.

Diesel Crane Operator  –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the Diesel Mechanic trade and the candidate should possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence with a minimum 1-year experience.

Diesel Cum Motor Mechanic –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the Diesel Mechanic/ Motor Mechanic/ Mechanic Diesel or any other relevant trade.

Jr. Draughtsman (52-Mechanical & 02-Civil) –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in Draughtsman in Mechanical or Civil stream from NCVT recognized institution.

Electrician –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in Electrician trade.

Electronic Mechanic –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in / Electronic Mechanic/ Electronics Mechanic for any of the relevant trade as mentioned in the official notification. 

Fitter –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the Fitter/ Marine Engineer Fitter/ Shipwright (Steel) trade.

Jr. Q C Inspector (Mechanical) –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and passed diploma examination in Mechanical/ Shipbuilding/Marine Engineering from a Govt recognized institution..

Gas Cutter –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the Structural Fitter/Fabricator/Composite Welder trade.

Machinist –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the  Machinist/ Machinist ( Grinder) trade.

Millwright Mechanic –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in  Millwright Mechanic/Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance trade.

Painter –

Class VIII  standard passed and national apprenticeship certificate examination passed in Painter/ Marine Painter trade.

Pipe Fitter –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the Pipe Fitter trade.

Rigger –

Class VIII  standard passed and national apprenticeship certificate examination passed in Rigger trade.

Structural Fabricator –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in the Structural Fitter/Fabricator trade.

Store Keeper –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board/university and Diploma in Mechanical/  Electrical/ Electronics or any other relevant trade as mentioned in the official notification.

Utility Hand –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board and National Apprenticeship Certificate examination passed in Fitter trade.

Planner Estimator ( 04 Mechanical & 04 Electrical) –

SSC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board/university and Diploma in Mechanical/  Shipbuilding or any other relevant trade as mentioned in the official notification.

Paramedics –

Intermediate or equivalent examination passed and  3 years Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Semi-Skilled ID-II –
