The official website of the West Bengal police recruitment board has been publishing a recruitment notification since 26th May 2022. The notification is for the engagement of new candidates in Constable positions in the Kolkata Police. Indian nationals especially from the West Bengal domicile who have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examination may consider this vacancy notification.

Educational Qualification Required for Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2022
Indian nationals who are willing to participate in the Constable selection test must have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education recognized institution.
The applicants must be able to speak, read, and write the Bengali language, in addition to the above-mentioned qualification. However, this provision does not apply to the permanent residents of hill subdivisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.
