On the requisition of the above department, the commission released the JPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2023 PDF notification on June 2nd, 2023, and there is also an appeal for the graduate Indian citizens for joining the selection examination.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission has accepted a requisition from the Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare Department for making available suitable candidates for the post of Food Safety Officer.
Candidates are to be supplied in the following structure of categories as received from the user department and the same has been accepted as the vacancy structure for JPSC Food Safety Officer.

JPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2023 Salary Details
Candidates who are to be selected for Food Safety Officer posts through the JPSC recruitment process will get the salary of Pay Scale- PB – II ₹ 9,300 – 34,800 (Grade Pay – 5,400).
Eligibility criteria required for JPSC Food Safety Officer Post
Qualification
Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the selection test to be conducted by JPSC must be an engineering graduate in Food Technology/Dairy Technology/Biotechnology/Oil Technology/Agriculture Technology/ Veterinary Science / Biochemistry from a recognized university /institution. or
Master’s degree in chemistry from a recognized Institute/University.
Age Limit & Relaxation
The minimum age of a candidate should be not less than 21 years on August 1st, 2020. The mentioned date is also the reference date for determining the upper age limit.

JPSC Food Safety Officer Selection Process
The selection process consists of two tests one is a written examination of multiple-choice questions that will have questions of the following two categories as explained in the blow table.
The return examination will be conducted for 200 marks, 100 marks for each subject, and a total of 4 hours, 2 hours for each subject.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission has got a payment gateway integrated to implement a digital payment system.
Now applicants have got the capability of online payment of application fees in addition to the traditional payment method while filling up the particulars in the prescribed online application form.
The prescribed application fee once paid shall not be refunded nor reserved for future to be adjusted any of the competitive examinations.
The Commission has also retained the traditional payment system for those candidates who don’t have Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking resources.
Candidates with no such facilities are bound to go with the traditional payment method in which they have to print a payment challan and visit the nearest SBI bank branch with the payment challan and the fee printed on it.

JPSC will be receiving applications from Graduate/Postgraduate Engineers under the Advt. No. – 18/2023. Online applications will be accepted from June 15, 2023, for a selection test for candidates. Candidates can register, fill-up, and submit the prescribed online applications up to July 14, 2023.
