JPSC Civil Judge Vacancy Details 

Jharkhand Public Service Commission has accepted a requisition from the Personnel Administrative Reforms and Official Language Department for providing suitable candidates who will suit Civil Judge (Junior Division) positions.

JPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2023 Salary Details 

Candidates who are to be selected and posted in Civil Judge (Junior Division) posts will get a salary of Pay Scale- 27,700 – 44,770/- and dearness and other allowances as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria Required for JPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2023 

Qualification 

Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the selection test to be conducted by for Civil Judge (Junior Division) must be a law graduate from a recognized university /institution. 

Willing Indian citizens with the above-mentioned qualifications must have a registration under the Advocates Act, 1961 till the last date of submission of applications.

Age Limit & Relaxation 

The willing Indian citizen must have attained the age of 22 years but not have attained 35 years of age on January 31st, 2023. 

Provided that in the case of female candidates, or candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe shall get the benefit of relaxation in their upper age by 3 years.

Disabled candidates belonging to any category can avail the benefit of age relaxation in their upper age by 10 years.

JPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2023 Selection Process 

  1. Preliminary Examination Test- A written examination of multiple choice questions/objective type shall be conducted. Candidates declaring successful in this examination will only be eligible for the main examination.
  1. Main Examination- A written examination of subjective type shall be conducted. Candidates declaring successful in this examination will only be eligible for the Viva-Voce.
  1. Viva-Voce Test- Oral examination for candidates who have passed both the above examinations.

The examination fees laid above are except the bank charges. Every applicant will have to bear the mentioned bank charges along with the examination fees.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission has got a payment gateway integrated to implement a digital payment system.  

Now applicants have got the capability of online payment of application fees while filling up the particulars in the prescribed online application form. 

The prescribed application fee once paid shall not be refunded nor reserved for future to be adjusted any of the competitive examinations. 

The Commission has also retained the traditional payment system for those candidates who don’t have Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking resources.

How to Apply for JPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2023? 

JPSC will be receiving applications from willing and eligible Law Graduates under the Advt. No. – 22/2023. Since the commission has implemented a digital system for processing details in the applications. All citizens who have decided to apply will have to complete the following steps.

Registration 

Every citizen of India who meets the criteria for Civil Judge can apply for the notified post under Advt. No. 22/2023 will have to register himself first.  
Visit the official website of JPSC and go to the login/register page. Register yourself by providing the asked information in the area mentioned for it, thereafter click the button “create an account. 

Fill up the Online Form 

Now it’s time to fill in the details of the applicants such as personal information, academic information, and others. Review the particulars filled up in the application form and submit once you are satisfied the particulars are error-free and correct. 

Remit the Application Fee 

The application will be summarily rejected if someone does not deposit the prescribed examination fee. This is considered an incomplete application. 
To avoid such a situation, you must deposit the prescribed application fees either online or offline mode. 

Take the printout of the finally submitted particulars 

Everyone must take the printout of particulars submitted to the prescribed online application form. You have to also send this printout with other documents as hardcopy at the prescribed address. 

How a final selection list will be prepared? 

Both the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Viva-Voce Test will be taken into account for preparing the final selection list.
