Educational Qualification Required for Nursing Officer
Indian citizens who have any of the following qualifications mentioned below can register for admission to the selection test.
B.Sc (honors) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing from an institution recognized by either Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council. or
B.Sc (post-certificate) Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an institution recognized by either Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council. Applicant should be registered as a nurse and midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council. or
Diploma in general nursing and midwifery from an institution recognized by either Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council. Applicant must have 2 years experience in 50 bedded Hospital as a Registered Nurse and Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.

- 70 MCQ will be asked from related subjects out of 100
- General Area
- General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General English, and General Mathematics. (30 MCQ will be asked from general areas out of 100)
90 minutes (one and half hours) has been allotted for 100 MCQs. Each MCQ will carry four marks.
