Jharkhand Circle Recruits for 19 PA, Postman, and Multitasking positions.

Jharkhand Circle, Department of Post, GOI has reviewed the reserved positions for meritorious sportspersons. The report of the review says there are vacant seats in Postal Assistant, Postman, and Multi-tasking Staff positions. The department has directed the Jharkhand Circle office to fill up these positions as soon as possible.

The Jharkhand Circle of the Indian Post department has released a public notification in this regard on the official website. The department is asking for details from the eligible candidate who fulfills the required criteria for any of these positions. The meritorious sportspersons can forward their details in the prescribed application format. The notification states 25th November 2021 is the closing day for acceptance of applications.

Qualification Details

Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant –

A candidate willing to serve in this position must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.

Before issuance of an appointment letter, the selected candidates will have to furnish a certificate of Basic Computer Training course from a recognized institution.

Postman –

A candidate who is willing to serve in this position must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University. And he must study the local language i.e. Hindi at least up to the 10th standard.

Before issuance of an appointment letter, the selected candidates will have to furnish a certificate of Basic Computer Training course from a recognized institution.

The candidate should possess a valid driving license for two or three-wheeler or light motor vehicles.

Multitasking Staff –

A candidate who is willing to serve in this position must have passed the 10th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board. And he must study the local language, i.e. Hindi at least up to 10th standard.

Note – Accept the above educational qualification all the candidates must have sports qualifications as mentioned in the official notification.

Application Fee Details

Applicants of all categories will have to pay the above amount of application fee. They will have to remit their fee through e-payment in any computerized post office in Jharkhand, specifying the circle. Applicants have to use the fee challan form.
