Defense Metallurgical Research Laboratory is a center of material solution for the Defence System. It works as a supportive entity for the Defence Research & Development organization. It proposes eligible candidates to engage as apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961(Amended 2015, 2019).
Defense Metallurgical Research Laboratory has released a list of trades that have some seats available for apprentices. The list can be found on the official website of the DRDO. DMRL invites applications from the candidates who have completed ITI in the trades listed. Eligible candidates can forward their scanned copies of the application along with enclosure up to 31st March 2021 through email.

Qualification Details.
ITI passed from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutions after completion of matriculation. Candidates will have to pass the qualifying examination for.
List of Documents to Produce.
- SSC from the board of examination you have passed.
- ITI passed the certificate from the NCVT/SCVT approved institution you completed.
- Caste/PwD from the competent authority.
- .ITI certificate.
- Bank pass book.
- Aadhar Card.
- One recent passport size photograph.
- 1 Recent size photograph.
- Police verification certificate from the nearest police station.
- Character/Conduct certificate from the head of the last educational institute.
- Physical fitness certificate from Civil Assistant Surgeon.
