Indian Navy 50 SSC Executive (Information Technology) Recruitment 2022.

The Indian Navy every year provides opportunities for newly graduated or postgraduate Indian citizens. The navy provides these opportunities only to those Indian citizens who complete the Indian Navy entry Special Naval Orientation course. This course is conducted by the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala. After completion of this course, the qualified candidates will be granted for Short Service Commission Executive (Information Technology) position. 

Any Indian citizens willing to join this course in The Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala will have to complete the registration form. The Indian Navy has commenced the registration process on 27th January 2022 and will continue this up to 10th February 2022. Indian citizens who are willing to join the Special Naval Orientation course must complete all the application submission formalities within the stipulated period.

Branch/ Cadre

The Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala will place the qualified candidates under the Executive branch of the Short Service Commission in Information Technology.

Number of Vacancies

The notification published on its official website informs as of now, i.e., up to the publishing day, the number of identified vacant seats is 50. The number is tentative and possible to change depending on the availability of training slots.

Educational Qualification

Indian citizens willing to participate in the selection of SSC Executive (Information Technology) must have a Graduate or Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university. 

Or

B.E./B. Tech degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized institution/university. 

Or

M. Sc degree in Computer/IT from a recognized institution/university. 

Or

Master in Computer Application from a recognized institution/university. 

Or 

M. Tech degree in Computer Science/IT from a recognized institution/university.

Relaxation for NCC Candidates

The candidates who hold an NCC ‘C’ certificate will get relaxation in cut-off marks towards shortlisting for SSB in the following conditions.

The NCC ‘C’ certificate of Naval/Army/ Air Wing should be the minimum of grade B.

The holders should not serve less than 2 years in the Senior division of the Naval/Army/Air Wing of the NCC.

The certificate should not be issued before 1st June 2019.

The verification of the certificate by DG NCC forward/concerned NCC unit for its authenticity.

Tenure of Commission

The newly selected candidates will be granted by Short Service Commission. The initial tenure of commission is for 10 years, which may also be extended by a maximum of four years. The extension will be for four years in two terms of 2 years plus two years pattern. 

Selection Procedure

The applications of the candidates will be shortlisted based on normalized marks. The normalized marks will be obtained from the marks of the candidates in their qualifying degree using formulae on the Join Indian Navy Official website.

Medical

SSB will recommend qualified candidates will have to undergo a medical examination. This is one of the necessary steps for SSB-recommended qualified candidates.

Important Dates

The Service Selection Board is opening the online registration along with the submission on 27th January 2022.

Whereas, the process of online registration along with the submission will continue up to 10th February 2022.

All willing candidates will have to complete their all application submission formalities within this period.
