Income Tax Department, the Government of India is executing the blueprint of recruitment of new candidates among the meritorious sportspersons. The department has identified income tax inspector, tax assistant, and multi-tasking staff are the positions in which candidates are to be placed. This department has published a public notification on its official website that includes a list of vacancies, qualifications, and recognized sports.

Sportsperson all over India having educational qualification matriculation or graduation can claim to be eligible. The department invites the eligibility details along with the prescribed applications from the eligible sportsperson.  Inspector of Income Tax:

A candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent examination from a recognized institution/university.

Tax Assistant:

A candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution and he/she has the typing skill at a speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

Multi-Tasking Staff:

A candidate should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.
