The High Court of Calcutta has expressed its intention by publishing a public notice on 22nd March 2022 on its official website. The public notification mentioned earlier clarifies the indication of the Calcutta High Court. It has cleared its intention to include new candidates to be placed as either personal assistants or stenographers.
Indian nationals who have completed higher secondary education and have shorthand and typing skills can forward applications to verify eligibility. Eligible and willing candidates will have to forward neatly handwritten or typed applications of legal size (8.5” x 14”). The enclosed application envelopes must be addressed to the Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta.

Educational qualification details required for PA/ Stenographer
The candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution/university.
The applicant must have shorthand and typing skills @ 120 wpm and 30 wpm respectively.
He/She must be familiar with the use of computers in office work.
Other Criteria –
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
A candidate should have good character and sound health. He/She should be free of disease that can make him/her unfit for this position.
He/She must pass the matriculation examination with Hindi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Hindi language.
