Health and Family Welfare Department, Odisha has planned for strengthening the health services in the state. To get their goal the department has decided to add a total of 2452 Medical Officers (Assistant Surgeons) through the recruitment process. The above-said department has sent a recruitment proposal to the Odisha Public Service Commission.
The Commission will conduct the whole recruitment process till the placement of candidates. The recruitment comprises various stages of tests. Hence, it is necessary for creating a database of applied candidates for future reference. The registration process of candidates’ details will continue up to 25th March 2021.

Qualification Details.
Medical Officer-
A degree of M.B.B.S or equivalent from a Medical institution/College recognized by the Medical Council of India. A valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961 (O.A. 18 of 1961) is mandatory.
