In view of the provisions prescribed under ‘The Gujarat State Judicial Service Rules, 2005’ (as amended from time to time) the high court has released the Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2023 notification to engage approximately 193 candidates.

The prospective Civil Judges who will clear all the tests involved in this recruitment process shall be placed in the position mentioned earlier in the pay scale of ₹ 44,850 – 1,36,52/- as admissible under the rules.

Educational Qualification Required for Civil Judge Entry in Gujarat High Court

Indian citizens intending to participate in the Gujarat High Court Judicial Service selection examination must have a Graduate Degree in Law from a recognized institution/university.

Other Criteria –

Candidates who have not cleared their secondary, as well as higher secondary examination with the subject of Gujarati, will have to appear for the vernacular language proficiency taste. 

The applicant must be participating as an advocate in courts of Civil and/or Criminal Jurisdiction on the last date fixed for the application submission.

The High Court has offered both online payment and cash challan to make the payment process more convenient for each applicant.

The High Court has got integrated a payment gateway of the State Bank of India for implementing the online payment process. The High Court has put an SBI e-pay link through a button that redirects to the payment page.

Applicants who have Credit Card/Debit Card/ Internet Banking services can use this link for payment of examination fees after filling up their details on the prescribed application form.

But candidates who don’t have any of the above-mentioned services can opt for the 2nd option i.e., cash-challan.

Applicants shall have to visit in person at the nearest bank branch with Cash-Challan for the remittance of examination fees.
