The forensic laboratory that is administered under the home Prisons & Disaster Management Department, Government of Jharkhand requires higher officials. All the candidates to be recruited will be placed as Assistant Director/ Senior Scientific Officer on regular payroll. The department has urged the state public service commission to start the recruitment cycle to get suitable candidates.
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission has processed the data received from the department and published it on its official website with a public notification of the recruitment. The commission has stated that suitable candidates can submit their request through the prescribed online application up to 20th October 2021.

Qualification Details.
Assistant Director / Senior Scientific Officer (Physics) –
The candidate must have passed M.Sc Degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution /University. Or equivalent qualification as mentioned by the commission in respect of this position.
He/She should have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience from the Forensic Laboratory/University/College Laboratory approved by the state/central government.
He/She should have completed a six months course of diploma in computer application.
Assistant Director / Senior Scientific Officer (Firearms) –
The candidate must have passed M.Sc Degree in Physics/Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution /University. Or equivalent qualification as mentioned by the commission in respect of this position.
He/She should have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience from the Forensic Laboratory/University/College Laboratory approved by the state/central government.
He/She should have completed a six months course of diploma in computer application.
Assistant Director / Senior Scientific Officer (Narcotics) –
The candidate must have passed M.Sc Degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution /University. Or equivalent qualification as mentioned by the commission in respect of this position.
