Recruitment of 35 Officers Under Food Safety Commissioner of Odisha.

The department of Food, Odisha is looking for suitable candidates to be engaged as food safety officers. The candidates who will be selected under this notification, placed on food safety officer positions. All the selected candidates will serve under the Commissioner, food safety, on a contract basis.

The Staff Selection Commission, Odisha, has received the recruitment proposal from the food department. Food Safety Officer –

A candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology/Dairy Technology/ Biotechnology/ Oil Technology/ Agricultural Science/ Veterinary Science / Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institution/university or higher qualification as mentioned in the notification. 

He/She should be able to work on computers in the relevant applications.

Candidates will have to pay the applicable examination fee through the OPSC portal. The payment of the above fee can be made using a Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet banking and other financial instruments enlisted in the payment page of the Odisha Government Treasury Portal.
