DRDO RCI Graduate Diploma and ITI Apprenticeship 2021 – 22.

Research Center Imarat (RCI) is a premier laboratory of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO. The DRDO has planned to provide technical skills to the Indians who have got their either Graduate or Diploma or ITI in the year 2019,2020,2021. DRDO is willing to keep ready skilled manpower for future requirements.

The said laboratory of DRDO has released an apprenticeship notification on its official website in this regard. Indian students who have the above-mentioned qualification can register themselves through its official website link. The registration process will end on 7th February 2022.

Included Disciplines

I. Category -Graduate Apprentices:

The included disciplines are as follows-

ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, and Chemical. B. Com and B. Sc degrees.

II. Category -Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

The included disciplines are as follows-

ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, and Chemical 

III. Category -Trade Apprentices:

The included disciplines are as follows-

 Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, and Welder.

Qualification Details

I. Category – Graduate Apprentices:

An Indian student willing to be a Graduate Apprentice under DRDO RCI must have an Engineering Degree in any of the above-mentioned disciplines from a recognized institution/university.

II. Category -Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

An Indian student willing to be a Technician Apprentice under DRDO RCI must have a Diploma in any of the above-mentioned disciplines from a State Technical Board/University recognized institution.

III. Category -Trade Apprentices –

An Indian student willing to be a Trade Apprentice under DRDO RCI must have completed ITI in any of the above-mentioned trades from an institution affiliated to NCVT/SCVT.

Duration of training

As per the Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended in 1961, 1973 & 2014, the duration of the apprenticeship training is for a period of one year for all categories of apprentices.
